Today was Candlemas, a day to celebrate the lengthening days.  In pre-Christian days it was a time to honor the Celtic goddess Brigit.  In some traditions it is a time to bless candles that will be used in church throughout the year.  Neva and I celebrated by having a traditional pancake breakfast...
